These three dimensional mandalas are created from folded photographs of butterfly wings, creating a rhythmic and meditative original piece of art.  Each mandala is coated with epoxy resin, giving it a high gloss sheen, while also protecting the original photographs from UV light and other elements.

This is the first piece I made with aluminum backing. Unlike other pieces it 'floats' off the wall. A metal frame with wire is attached to the back. Because of this the back is ugly but you will never see it!  :)
